About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based out of Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time position where the clinician will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. This role offers an opportunity to work outside traditional prosthetics and orthotics in a niche, pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants and their families. The position involves traveling to different clinics weekly, working with new teammates and families, and treating infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Pediatricians and parents rely on our Clinicians as experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears. The treating Clinicians build strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring. The company offers a unique opportunity to see visible, measurable changes in patients within two to three weeks, with minimal paperwork and no productivity/patient quotas. Requirements

  • Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must complete AHCA's screening program.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic.
  • Work in the clinic Tuesday through Friday.
  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
  • Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
  • Take over a caseload for another clinician, meeting new families.
