About The Position

National Assemblers, Inc. is hiring a Traveling Assembler Technician to complete product assembly and installation jobs in customers’ homes and businesses. The role requires travel in and around surrounding states and willingness to work outside the local area. After approximately 1–2 weeks of paid training, technicians travel to customer locations; paid lodging and a per diem or daily stipend are provided. Travel time and schedules may vary, and available schedules may include full-time, part-time, or weekend-only work depending on location. The company provides W-2 employment, training, insurance, and payment for all hours worked, including overtime. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour, with additional earnings for completed projects and opportunity to earn more.

Requirements

Able and willing to travel outside the local area, including in surrounding states.
Able to lift 40 pounds.
Have reliable transportation.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and three years of driving history in the United States.
Have basic hand tools.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Problem-solving ability and a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Receive customer orders for product installation or assembly in customers’ homes.
Communicate with customers to confirm appointments.
Assemble products according to National Assemblers’ specifications.
Build rapport with customers and provide quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Travel regularly to customers’ homes and businesses.
