About The Position
This is a travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech position in Burlington, Vermont, specializing in Ultrasound Tech. The role is based in a hospital setting with an adult echo lab. The assignment is for 6 weeks, starting August 13, 2026. The role may involve floating to an outpatient facility and some call responsibilities. The weekly pay range is $2,454–$2,646 per week, with no guaranteed hours. The shift is 5x8 days.
Requirements
- Active ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) certification
- AHA BLS certification
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Reliable transportation recommended; public transit in the area is limited
- Ability to work any day of the week; no block scheduling
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including adult echocardiography; acquire and optimize quality images
- Maintain a minimum productivity target of 7–8 studies per day; may float to outpatient facility as needed
- Adhere to EPIC documentation workflows; accurately record findings and ensure timely communication to physicians
- Provide care across patient populations including inpatient, outpatient, and ICU; respond to call requirements as assigned
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and ALARA principles; operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment appropriately
