About The Position

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech required for a travel temporary assignment in Burlington, Vermont. This ultrasound specialty role starts on 08/13/2026 and runs for 6 weeks, with a 4x10 night shift (8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $2,391 to $2,505, with no guaranteed hours. The assignment takes place at a large teaching facility on campus with two sites and 579 beds, and involves complex imaging across multiple modalities. The position requires ARDMS-certified imaging across abdomen, gynecology, and vascular studies, along with breast care center experience and the performance of breast biopsies.

Requirements

ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular imaging
Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
BLS certification
License on file at time of submission

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular imaging with attention to image quality, patient safety, and protocol adherence.
Conduct breast ultrasound imaging and support or perform breast biopsies as indicated in a breast care center setting.
Operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in the EPIC EMR system, and communicate results to radiologists and referring clinicians.
Maintain adherence to ultrasound safety and quality standards, participate in quality assurance activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment.
Adapt to a fast-paced, 24/7 capable workflow with flexibility to cover additional shifts or weekends as needed.
