About The Position
Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasound) travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This 20-week travel position begins 09/01/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,752–$2,830 and guaranteed hours of 38 per week. Shift pattern is 4x10-hour days with call rotation, in a hospital-based imaging department providing inpatient and outpatient care.
Requirements
- 2 years ultrasound experience
- ARDMS Registered or ARRT(S)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work the listed shift and guarantee 38 hours per week with call rotation
- Proficiency in breast imaging, general, vascular, small parts, and first-trimester OB ultrasound; capable of assisting with biopsies
- Willingness to travel for a 20-week assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, including general, breast, vascular, small parts, and first-trimester obstetrics
- Assist with image-guided biopsies and related procedures as needed
- Prepare patients, position appropriately, optimize imaging technique, and document findings per department protocol
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards; adhere to quality and compliance guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the care team; ensure accurate and timely documentation in the imaging system
- Provide services for both inpatient and outpatient populations as assigned, with call coverage as required
