About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech in Washington, Iowa. The role is a temporary assignment in a hospital setting with guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. The shift is 5x8 Days, and the weekly pay ranges from $2,668 to $2,849.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound
- RDCS registered, preferred or obtain after hire
- RVT registrations preferred or obtain after hire
- RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred or obtain after hire
- BLS required or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment and in the listed setting
Responsibilities
- Perform high quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, plus general ultrasound studies (abdomen, OB-GYN) and vascular exams.
- Set up and assist radiologists during procedures; coordinate with the imaging team.
- Work with EMR to generate and complete exam orders; release and transmit images via PACS.
- Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision; monitor equipment and maintain a safe environment.
- Transport patients, assist with front desk check-in/out, and communicate supplies and department needs to ensure uninterrupted testing.
