About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. Travel Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments across the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities. This position is for Operating Room (OR) surgery at Mount Carmel St. Ann's in Westerville, Ohio, with a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week. The stated gross weekly rate is $2,340. The RN may be required to float throughout the hospital, across multiple hospital locations, or across regions. The role requires professional nursing practice, independent and appropriate action within the nurse's license and scope of experience, accountability for delegation and decisions, collaboration on quality improvement, agility in taking on responsibilities, and openness to new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience; this requirement applies to all specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
Obtain and maintain the credentials required for the specialty area (for example, ACLS or TNCC).
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
