About The Position

FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, hires registered nurses for short- and long-term assignments across the health system. RNs may work in nationwide or regional opportunities and fill critical positions arising from unforeseen circumstances or extended leaves. This assignment is at MercyOne Davenport Medical Center in Iowa, begins ASAP, lasts 13 weeks, and is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week. The gross weekly rate is $2,664. The nurse must be willing to float throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. The position calls for independent practice within the nurse’s license, knowledge, experience, and specialty; accountability for delegation and clinical decisions; collaboration on quality improvement; and adaptability while managing competing priorities and embracing new ideas and cultural differences.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Maternal Services and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
