About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Day Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at the Transition Center of Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves providing comprehensive services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. Travel RNs assigned to Missouri can earn up to $2,021/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. The position is for a full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employee. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, as dictated by contract needs, with each assignment restricted to a single location. The RN is responsible for delivering holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address a wide range of patient needs, including physical, psychological, and social aspects.

Requirements

Associate's degree required
Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Must be 90+ miles from designated facility.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
