Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel
About The Position
Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for their Adventure RN program. This program offers flexible employment opportunities across a national network of behavioral health facilities. The role involves providing quality care and improving the well-being of patients. Intercompany transfers to permanent positions are facilitated with continuous benefit coverage. The position is full-time with a 3x12 schedule, requiring every other weekend. It is a night shift position with an enhanced hourly rate and a tax-exempt stipend where applicable. Bi-weekly pay and overtime opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license or compact/multi-state license
- At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or related area
- Current CPR or BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, record and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure the best possible care for the patients
