About The Position

Sentara Careplex Hospital and Sentara Louise Obici Hospital are hiring Registered Nurse Internal Travelers to work Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignments. This role offers premium pay for temporary full-time, 14-week assignments on specific units. No benefits are provided for this specific traveler role, but Sentara offers a comprehensive benefits package for permanent employees. Requirements

• Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in Nursing, or diploma in the Nursing Field.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience.
• For specialty units, 2+ years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse on specified units.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members.
