About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital and Sentara Louise Obici Hospital are hiring Registered Nurse Internal Travelers to work Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignments. This role offers premium pay and is for a specific unit. Sentara Careplex Hospital is a 224-bed technologically advanced, acute care facility, and Certified Primary Stroke Center, featuring specialized services in heart and vascular, urologic care, advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, a hospitalist program, and one of the state's busiest emergency departments. It is also home to the Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara Careplex Hospital. Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience.
- For specialty units, 2+ years recent experience in the specialty.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care on Oncology Med/Surg, Med/Surg Stroke, Med/Surg, Intermediate Care/Stepdown, Telemetry Med-Surg, or Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.
- Work temporary full-time, 14-week assignments.
- Adhere to specific unit and shift requirements.
