This specific role is for a Med/Tele Travel Registered Nurse (RN) at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, for a 26-week travel contract. The position requires candidates to reside 60+ miles outside of Palo Alto, CA to qualify as a traveler.
Requirements
- Current California RN License
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Current NIHSS certification
- Minimum 3 years of Med/Tele experience
- EPIC experience required
- Must successfully pass an ECG exam (up to 2 attempts, minimum passing score: 85% or higher)
- Strong Telemetry Interpretation
- Good References
- Associates Degree
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Prior Travel Nurse Experience
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients on a Medical-Tele unit.
- Interpret ECG readings.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Document patient care in EPIC.
