About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing transactions for customers at our travel plaza location. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and convenient experience for travelers.

Requirements

• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Operate cash register, scan items, and accurately process various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments).
• Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer, including making change and balancing at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Process fuel transactions and understand different fuel types and pricing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries, provide directions, and offer information about Onvo products and services.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the travel plaza.
