About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our business, responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area. Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role preferred.

• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked sales counter and surrounding areas.
• Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification.
• Process fuel sales, lottery tickets, and other services offered at the travel plaza.
• Address customer concerns or complaints courteously and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, age-restricted sales, and safety.
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products as needed.
