About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our retail experience, responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions, maintaining a clean and organized sales area, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Requirements

Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
Scan and bag merchandise efficiently.
Handle cash and make correct change.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed.
Assist with other retail duties such as cleaning, merchandising, and inventory checks.
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
