About The Position

The core responsibility will be oversight of the Travel Plazas at eight (8) locations along the Indiana Toll Road making sure operators are compliant with the ITRCC contract for customer service, safety, and cleanliness standards to ensure facilities are customer-ready. Manage relationship and expectations with the INDOT oversight manager. Develop quarterly reports to senior management. The Travel Plaza Operations Associate will also be responsible for engaging in the long-term planning of capital expenditures to improve and expand travel plaza parking and building footprints in the coming years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a safe manner
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with a working knowledge of Power Point
  • Must possess effective oral and written skills
  • Must possess effective organizational skills and can multi-task daily
  • Must have knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Must have knowledge of contracting and leasing procedures
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years Facilities contract management experience
  • Commercial Property management experience preferred not required
  • Process implementation
  • ERP experience
  • Contract Management system experience
  • Experience using inspection checklists, reporting systems, or mobile inspection applications

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks safely, complies with all internal and external safety requirements,supportsITRCC safety culture, attends allsafety trainings and completes all compliance trainings as required by ITRCC.
  • Uphold ITRCC’s core values: Community, Actions, Reliability, Excellence and Safety (CARES).
  • Manage Travel Plaza contracts – Safety, Cleanliness, Compliance Inspections, reporting, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct a minimum of two (2) inspections per plaza a week, including follow-up inspections if necessary.
  • Prepare clear and timely inspection reports.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely inspection records for each of the eight (8) plazas, including inspection dates, deficiencies, photographs, corrective actions, follow-up activities, and resolution status.
  • Ensure inspection records are complete, organized, readily accessible, and maintained in accordance with company record-retention requirements.
  • Develop Scope of Works for ITR responsibilities to ensure contract compliance.
  • Manage relationship with the INDOT Oversight and Compliance Manager.
  • Oversight of the NITDC contract.
  • Manage other ITRCC commercial contracts (make up/break up lots, NITDC, on road advertising, etc.).
  • Manage contract compliance reporting.
  • Other contract mgmt./procurement initiatives as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
