About The Position

This is a travel nursing position for a Neuro Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) RN in Atlanta, Georgia. The contract duration is 8 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a night shift (3x12's). A stipend package is available to help maximize take-home pay. The unit functions as both ICU and stepdown, and floating between the two is likely. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1-2 for ICU and 3-4 for stepdown.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) RN experience
• Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills Checklist completion
• Badge-appropriate picture
• AHA BLS certification
• GA or Compact RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) with potential to float between ICU and stepdown units.
• Manage patient care with ratios of 1-2 in ICU and 3-4 in stepdown.
• Work 36 guaranteed hours per week on a night shift (3x12's).
