About The Position

VenVisor Health is seeking a professional and compassionate full-time Travel Medical Assistant to facilitate consultations in nursing home facilities on behalf of its medical team. The assistant supports providers at nursing homes using a tablet device and helps create a supportive environment for patients. The position is based in Texarkana, Arkansas, follows a five-day-per-week schedule, and involves travel to facilities across different states as needed. The stated annual salary is $35,000, based on an average of 38 patients seen per day worked, with eligibility for a bonus for each additional patient seen beyond that number.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA Board Certified).
• Ability or experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and respond appropriately.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice.
• Currently resides in the state of Arkansas.
• License to drive.
• Prolonged standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.; frequent travel; lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the designated facility contact for each location.
• Follow a pre-established list from the office to ensure all patients are seen and provided with appropriate care.
• Perform additional duties as required to facilitate medical services and clinical monitoring.
• Travel to various facilities across different states as needed to support operations.
• Assist providers in nursing homes using a tablet device.
