About The Position

VenVisor Health is seeking a professional and compassionate full-time Travel Medical Assistant to facilitate consults in nursing home facilities on behalf of its medical team. The assistant supports providers at nursing homes using a tablet device and helps create a supportive environment for patients. The role involves frequent travel to facilities across different states, with the candidate currently residing in Arkansas. The position is scheduled five days per week. Salary is $35,000 per annum, based on an average of 38 patients seen per day worked, with eligibility for a bonus for each additional patient seen beyond that number.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA Board Certified).
• Ability or experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and respond appropriately.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice.
• Currently reside in the state of Arkansas.
• License to drive.
• Prolonged standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.; frequent travel; lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the designated facility contact for each location.
• Follow a pre-established list from the office to ensure all patients are seen and provided with appropriate care.
• Perform additional duties as required to facilitate medical services and clinical monitoring.
• Travel to various facilities across different states as needed to support operations.
