Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (77591)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Travel LPNs assigned to Indiana can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. Assignments will be restricted to one location at a time, with the LPN working between various facilities/locations throughout Indiana based on contract needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience.
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Compact licensure preferred.
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred.
