About The Position

This travel program offers the opportunity to work directly for a company, providing a consistent experience with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. The program offers both local and non-local positions with a competitive hourly rate and a tax-free stipend (if applicable), ensuring no pay cuts mid-contract. Additional benefits include a referral bonus and license reimbursement for new state licenses. Technologists will have a choice of assignments at partner facilities across various health systems. The position is responsible for delivering efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs to aid medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner. This includes operating CT equipment to create cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for medical diagnosis. CT technologists also prepare patients for these procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to capture the required images.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT required
  • Current, valid, and active certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required
  • Completion of CT Technology certificate program required
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years previous experience preferred
  • Hospital experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing quality diagnostic radiographs to assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner when ordered by a physician
  • Effectively coordinate the process for ordering the procedure and transmitting the images to the radiologist
  • Operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process
  • Position patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician
