About The Position

Leidos Defense is seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) program. ILS2 provides integrated logistics, facilities, mission-enabling, training, and emergent operations support across the geographically dispersed Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Travel Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant domestic and international travel in support of program operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for travel planning and execution, coordinating travel requirements for program personnel while ensuring compliance with applicable corporate, contractual, and government travel policies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience coordinating domestic and international travel in support of government or commercial programs.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel systems and expense reporting processes.
  • 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting FEDSIM, Department of War (DoW), or other large commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and government travel policies.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience using CONCUR travel and / or financial management systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all domestic and international travel arrangements for program personnel, including airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, and other travel-related requirements.
  • Prepare and process travel authorizations, expense reports, and reimbursement documentation using approved travel management systems (e.g., CONCUR and Leidos travel systems).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies, contractual requirements, Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and applicable government travel guidance.
  • Monitor travel requests, resolve travel-related issues, and provide responsive support before, during, and after travel to minimize mission impacts.
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Resource Managers, and corporate support organizations to support operational travel requirements and changing mission priorities.
  • Maintain accurate travel records, documentation, and reporting in accordance with program and corporate requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update travel procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
  • Prepare travel status reports, metrics, and other administrative reports to support program management and operational decision-making.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, track action items, and provide general administrative support to the program as required.
  • Assist with reconciliation of travel expenses, outstanding travel card balances, and coordination with Finance and Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing of travel-related transactions.
  • Safeguard sensitive and proprietary information while maintaining accurate records and supporting program reporting requirements.
  • Perform other travel and administrative duties as assigned in support of program operations.
