About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/T-CNA) for a travel assignment in Elkins, WV. This role supports residents within a long-term care and rehabilitation environment by delivering quality patient-centered care during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong resident care skills, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification required
- Ability to work overnight shifts and rotating weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and compassionate care approach required
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Support resident mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Obtain and document vital signs accurately
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient care environments
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines
- Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and families
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
- Complete accurate documentation and communication with healthcare teams
