About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/T-CNA) for a travel assignment in Elkins, WV. This role supports resident care within a long-term care and rehabilitation environment during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient-centered care while assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting nursing staff in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic required
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Support resident mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Take and document vital signs accurately
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and safe patient care environments
- Follow infection prevention and facility safety protocols
- Provide compassionate emotional support and patient-centered care
- Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights
- Complete accurate patient documentation and communication
