The cook is responsible for maintaining food quality standards, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness, and properly labeling and storing food and equipment. This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a dynamic culinary environment. The cook must follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines for food preparation and storage, document critical food safety information, and operate various kitchen equipment. A strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, basic math, and recipe comprehension is essential. The role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
