About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced leader to manage overall operations and performance at a busy travel center. This hands-on leadership role oversees retail, fuel, and food service operations, develops the site team, and ensures high standards for service, cleanliness, safety, and customer experience. The manager is responsible for the site’s financial performance, regulatory compliance, inventory controls, vendor relationships, and ongoing operational improvement. The role requires working 50 or more hours per week as scheduled and being on call for store needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record in truck-stop and quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations.
• Working knowledge of Restaurant Management Systems.
• Ability to work as scheduled for 50 or more hours per week.
• Ability to perform non-management activities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across retail, fuel, and food service, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the site, including the lot, pumps, restrooms, and showers.
• Hire, train, lead, and develop managers and hourly staff; build a culture of accountability and engagement while reducing turnover.
• Work alongside the team, set expectations, and lead by example, including performing non-management activities when needed.
• Manage site financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring food and labor costs, shrink, waste, and fuel and merchandise margins.
• Make real-time operational adjustments to meet or exceed profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, fuel compliance, and age-restricted sales.
• Oversee inventory controls, conduct audits, and manage vendor relationships to ensure accurate deliveries, appropriate stock levels, and efficient operations.
• Communicate with the team about goals, performance expectations, safety, and site success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Be available on call for store needs as they arise.
