About The Position

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role is responsible for creating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards, sales and profit objectives, and customer-satisfaction goals. The General Manager ensures customer expectations are met, conducts meetings with subordinate employees, and maintains effective vendor relationships. The position also involves building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or another service industry, with responsibility for financial results.
• Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
• Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Integrity and accountability at the managerial level.
• Excellent team leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
