About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking a proactive Travel Center General Manager to oversee operations at its travel center/truck stop in Port Wentworth, Georgia. The role leads daily operations across the fuel station, convenience store, and quick-service restaurant, while ensuring operational excellence, excellent customer service, employee development, safety compliance, and consistent implementation of company best practices. The manager also oversees inventory and vendor coordination, site financial performance, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of management experience in the fuel, convenience store, or hospitality industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of travel center operational best practices, inventory control, and vendor relations.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety protocols related to fuel stations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging effectively with employees and customers.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the fuel station, convenience store, and quick-service restaurant in accordance with company standards.
• Recruit, train, and manage the team, promoting service excellence and teamwork.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction and promptly address complaints and issues.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor product quality and availability.
• Monitor and manage the site budget, sales, and profitability, and implement strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those concerning fuel handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate reports and records covering sales, employee performance, and operational metrics for upper management.
