About The Position
AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agent to join their travel team. This role is based out of the service center in Medford, Oregon, and will be key to promoting travel sales and offering an exceptional travel experience to members. The agency has a long history of helping members with travel and is known for staying ahead of industry trends and championing innovative ideas. This position is 100% onsite.
Requirements
- Proficient with basic computer knowledge.
- Organized.
- Able to learn new systems.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales environment is preferred (especially in travel).
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Understanding of the importance of customer service.
- Understanding of building and managing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit exceptional member service while providing advice and recommendations to enhance their travel experience.
- Confirm all travel arrangements.
- Build rapport with members and foster long-lasting travel connections.
- Research, reserve, and finalize domestic and international travel arrangements including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities.
- Be focused, detail-oriented and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
