About The Position
AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agent to join their travel team in Beaverton/Hillsboro, Oregon. This role is crucial for promoting travel sales and delivering an exceptional travel experience to members. The agency has a long-standing legacy of assisting members with travel arrangements for over 100 years and continues to innovate within the industry. This position is 100% onsite.
Requirements
- Proficient with basic computer knowledge.
- Organized.
- Able to learn new systems.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales environment (especially in travel) is preferred.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Understanding the importance of customer service.
- Experience in building and managing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit exceptional member service while providing advice and recommendations to enhance their travel experience.
- Confirm all travel arrangements.
- Build rapport with members and foster long-lasting travel connections.
- Research, reserve, and finalize domestic and international travel arrangements including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities.
- Focus on details and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
