About The Position

AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agent to join its Salem travel team. Based at the Salem, Oregon service center, this role promotes travel sales and provides members with an exceptional travel experience. The Travel Agent advises and recommends options to enhance members’ trips, confirms arrangements, builds rapport, and fosters lasting travel relationships. The role researches, reserves, and finalizes domestic and international travel arrangements, including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities. The position is 100% onsite and is suited to someone who is focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency with basic computer skills.
• Organization and ability to learn new systems.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in a customer service or sales environment, preferably in travel; this experience is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of the sales process, customer service, and building and managing relationships.
