About The Position

AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agent to join its Portland travel team. Based at the service center in downtown Portland, Oregon, this role promotes travel sales and provides members with an exceptional travel experience. The agent advises and recommends options to enhance members’ trips, confirms travel arrangements, builds rapport, and fosters lasting relationships. The role involves researching, reserving, and finalizing domestic and international travel arrangements, including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities. The successful candidate is focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a diverse, fast-paced environment. The position is 100% onsite.

Requirements

Basic computer proficiency.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to learn new systems.
Focused and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in a customer service or sales environment is preferred, especially in travel, but is not required.
Understanding of the sales process, customer service, and building and managing relationships.
