About The Position

We are seeking a Trauma Surgeon for a Locum Tenens position at a Level II Trauma Center in Dubois, PA. This role involves providing clinical coverage for trauma surgery, managing trauma patients, and performing a variety of procedures. The position requires working 12-hour shifts, both days and nights, as scheduled, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary hospital team. Temporary privileges are available, with emergency privileges offered for October.

Requirements

• Active PA license
• BC in Surgery (Surgical Critical Care)
• DEA required
• ATLS certification
• 1-2 years post fellowship experience

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma surgery coverage including abdominal, thoracic, ortho, vascular, and neurosurgical procedures
• Manage trauma patients in a Level II trauma center
• Work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital team
• Participate in emergency privileges process as needed
