About The Position

Stryker is hiring a field-based Trauma Sales Representative to manage a territory in Pasadena, California. The representative will develop and execute sales plans for Stryker Trauma products, provide clinical and technical support during orthopedic and trauma procedures, and build relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers. The role involves supporting urgent cases, maintaining product and instrument availability, identifying territory growth opportunities, and documenting sales, inventory, and compliance activities. The position requires participation in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. Travel is approximately 30%. Compensation is 100% commission, and the role is eligible for bonuses and benefits. Employees in sales and field roles who access customer accounts may be required to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination depending on customer requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of experience in sales, clinical healthcare, or a combination of both.
Ability to participate in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as required.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, case coverage, and market share objectives for Stryker Trauma products.
Provide responsive clinical and technical support during trauma and orthopedic procedures, including urgent cases occurring at night, on weekends, and on holidays.
Build and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons, operating room staff, emergency department personnel, and healthcare decision-makers within assigned accounts.
Manage competing priorities involving scheduled cases, emergency procedures, inventory requirements, and customer requests.
Conduct product evaluations, demonstrations, and educational programs to support customer adoption and appropriate product utilization.
Maintain inventory, instrument sets, and consignment assets to ensure product availability and readiness for case support.
Analyze account activity, competitive trends, and territory performance data to identify growth opportunities and support business objectives.
Document sales activities, customer interactions, inventory transactions, and compliance requirements in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
