About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Trauma Registrar to join its Level II Trauma Program. The role maintains a computerized trauma registry in accordance with medical, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. It uses American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and state requirements and standards to provide complete, timely data and prepare statistical reports upon request. The position is in the Trauma department at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, or related coursework.
Knowledge or experience in data analysis and report presentation.
Computer experience with keyboarding skills.

Nice To Haves

Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) certification.
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification.

Responsibilities
