About The Position

HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Trauma Registrar to join our Level II Trauma Program. This role is responsible for maintaining computerized trauma registry consistent with medical, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements. Utilizes the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and State requirements and standards to provide compete and timely data and provide statistical reports upon request.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, or related course work is required.
• Knowledge or experience in data analysis and report presentation is required.
• Computer experience with keyboarding skills is required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified as a Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) is preferred.
• Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is preferred.
