About The Position

The Transporter performs patient transport and related duties in a timely manner, assuming responsibility for assigned areas or procedures as requested. The role prioritizes patients and supports high-quality radiology transport services. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with call assignments as needed and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience in a health care setting providing patient care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from diagnostic and treatment areas using the designated method and adhering to scheduled times.
• Transfer patients safely and efficiently by wheelchair, movable bed, or stretcher.
• Ensure patients are properly dressed or gowned for examinations.
• Provide a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
• Coordinate patient transport to and from diagnostic testing, including transport upon admission as appropriate and at discharge.
