About The Position

McDonald's largest supply chain partner worldwide is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for their 3rd shift. This role operates on a 4-day work week, Tuesday through Friday, from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am, with 3 consecutive days off. This is an exempt compensation position, with pay based on experience and the potential for an annual bonus. Requirements

Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience OR High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage.
Ensures a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
Assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery needs.
Promptly solves problems to the maximum satisfaction of customers.
Provides development to supervisory and driver staff.
Potentially leads various committees, such as quality and safety.
Partners with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement.
Other duties as assigned.
