About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for safe passenger transportation and associated vehicle, communication, and record-keeping duties. The role includes shuttle driving on alternating shifts when scheduled, following day-to-day safety and operating policies, and attending mandatory training and staff meetings. Employees are expected to know existing Wind River Hotel & Casino policies and refer to them when necessary. Hiring and retention follow Indian Preference per federal law.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods, up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to work in a secondhand smoke environment.
• Must be dependable and reliable, and able to work alternating shifts when scheduled to drive shuttles.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
• Must demonstrate U.S. work authorization during employment verification.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test; non-safety-sensitive positions will not be tested for cannabis.
• Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe passenger transportation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Assist passengers.
• Maintain and care for vehicles.
• Communicate and dispatch, including answering phone calls.
• Maintain records.
• Practice defensive driving and monitor traffic.
• Be punctual.
• Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure all policy and safety procedures are followed in day-to-day operations.
• Attend all mandatory training and staff meetings.
• Know existing Wind River Hotel & Casino policies and refer to them when necessary.
