As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors, employees, and travelers with exceptional customer service and communication. You will report observations and respond to security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, access points, and other assigned areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access control points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and suspicious behavior.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
