Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport facilities; working environments and conditions may vary across the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted and public areas, report irregularities, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrol presence.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and daily reports in accordance with site requirements and applicable government regulations.
