Airport Security Officer: Part Time Patrol Reporting

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport facilities, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Assist with access control, credential verification, visitor direction, and traffic or pedestrian flow as assigned, while maintaining accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.
- Help maintain a professional presence that supports orderly operations and helps to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
