You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, unattended property, and/or potential hazards, and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter prohibited activity.
