About The Position

As a Transportation Security Officer: Airport Courtesy Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
