About The Position

The Transportation Manager leads a fleet of 10 or more drivers and manages driver availability to maximize fleet productivity. The role routinely reviews profit and loss (P/L) for the assigned area and looks for ways to improve profitability. It develops drivers through daily interactions, coaching, and positive reinforcement; manages expectations and keeps commitments to meet driver home-time expectations; maximizes P/L for assigned tractors and trailers; and proactively manages safety performance to meet insurance and claims cost targets as a percentage of revenue.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in Operations, Planning, and/or Customer Accounts.
Ability to lead others.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; the company does not sponsor employment visas.
