About The Position

The Transportation Driver provides safe transportation for clients, families, and company personnel to company programs and functions. The role may include assisting passengers with disabilities when entering or exiting the vehicle, helping staff supervise clients during activities, and keeping trip or passenger-behavior records. The Driver is responsible for vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, including refueling and oil maintenance, and for maintaining required vehicle documentation. When not driving, the Driver may perform custodial and maintenance tasks. The role requires adherence to agency policies, professional and ethical standards, and applicable statutes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Chauffeur Driver’s License and car insurance.
• Acute attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for clients, families, and agency personnel to company programs and functions.
• Assist passengers with disabilities into and out of the vehicle, as needed.
• Assist staff in supervising clients during functions.
• Keep records of trips and/or passenger behavior, as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, including refueling and oil maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle documentation, such as registration, inspection stickers, and insurance.
• Follow agency policies, professional and ethical standards, and applicable statutes when conducting company business.
• Perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and maintenance tasks.
