About The Position

The Transportation Coordinator or driver provides facility staff with driving services such as driving staff and persons served to doctors’ appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner.

Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Good driving ability and a clean driving record
• Ability to work well with other staff and adult persons served
• Self-directed but also able to take directions and carry out tasks
• Ability to create and carry out a schedule for vehicle use
• A valid California driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a driver for a long-term care facility, hospital, or community-based program is preferred
