About The Position
The Transportation Driver is responsible for the daily Transportation Driver Duties. They will assist in loading, unloading, & transporting individuals safely to and from scheduled appointments in a manner that complies with federal/state/company rules & regulations.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and able to obtain/maintain Class E
- Pass 10-panel drug test and background check
- Must be flexible with working schedule, split shift hours at this time.
- Communicate effectively with riders, guardians, and other staff
Nice To Haves
- Computer experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide daily transportation in a safe and timely manner
- Treat riders with respect, dignity, and courtesy; drivers are required to assist all riders on and offthe bus
- Safely secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices and follow all applicable procedures
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections, and report issues for repairs
- Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
- Comply with federal/state/company rules and regulations
