Transportation Coordinator | Driver
About The Position
The Transportation Coordinator or driver provides facility staff with driving services such as driving staff and persons served to doctors’ appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner. The “Courtyard at Idylwood” is a 106-bed skilled nursing facility providing services for individuals with a combination of medical and behavioral needs. Services focus on skilled nursing, along with specific clinical programming addressing behavioral needs. The facility is near the freeway and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Good driving ability and a clean driving record
- Ability to work well with other staff and adult persons served
- Self-directed but also able to take directions and carry out tasks
- A valid California driver's license
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a driver for a long-term care facility, hospital, or community-based program is preferred
